Being a parent is the most wonderful thing in the world.
It can also be the most challenging.
Especially when trying to support your child when they become emotionally distressed or display unwanted
and challenging behaviours and when nothing you seem to do works to calm or "fix" the situation.
We know this can lead to feeling's of shame, embarrassment, exhaustion, feeling out of control, frustration, feeling inadequate, failure or even guilt.
When looking for support and advice it can be overwhelming for many parents especially when receiving conflicting information, which ends up just adding to all those feelings of confusion, frustration and self-doubt.
Here at Holding Hearts CIC we offer simple, tailored support and guidance through our Parenting Support service - @theHeart.
The aim of @theHeart is to enable you to work closely with one of our friendly therapists so we can get to know you, your child and the challenges you face. Together with one of our Play and Creative Arts Therapists we can unlock the answers to the how?, the what?, and the why?
