Grief can feel very lonely for children and young people. Our Grief Youth groups are informal, creative and fun and include a variety of activities carefully planned to bring grieving children together so that they can make friends, be creative together and simply be children again. 

Based in Blyth, Northumberland our groups are uniquely led by our team of qualified play & creative arts therapists and are suitable for children aged 7 - 13 years.
Activities available include arts & crafts, team games, gaming station, slime station, chill and chat and a choice of memory making activities.
 

Sessions run bi-weekly Wednesdays 4:30-6pm at Blyth Community Enterprise Centre.
The next planned dates are as follows;

10th May 2023 -- 24th May 2023 -- 7th June 2023 --

Children are welcome to come to as many group sessions as they would like to, we recommend children initially attend a minimum of 6 sessions to give them the opportunity to get the most from the group and the opportunity to develop those important friendships, however after this they are welcome dip in and out as needed. 

Children attend the groups alone however a dedicated space with refreshments is provided for parents/carers.
